This exhibition has maintained the thematic core of Omaggio a Umberto Mastroianni, deepening the research on movement and expressive force through these two new creations. The event at the Cultural Association Sarean in Bilbao, represented a further development of my artistic path, expanding the dialogue between photography, sculpture and cultural tradition in an international context.

Caballo Silencioso and Tauromaquia, created for the Bilbao exhibition, explore movement and energy through abstract forms and vibrant colours. Caballo Silencioso reinterprets the figure of the horse with fluid lines and dynamic colour tones, evoking grace and power in a dreamlike dimension. Tauromaquia captures the intensity of the bullfight, conveying tension and strength through chromatic contrasts and dynamic forms. Both works connect to Umberto Mastroianni’s artistic research, sharing his interest in dynamism and the expressive power of forms.

The opening of the exhibition
Plaque of Merit Municipality of Fontana Liri
The City Council of Fontana Liri, led by Mayor Gianpio Sarracco, has awarded a Plaque of Merit to photographer Pasquale Proia. A versatile artist, he has exhibited in collective exhibitions, focusing on digital photography and abstract images. His research and experimentation in photography and poetry explore lines, forms, and spatial dimensions.His work “Is There Anybody Out There?” was screened at the Video Bardo International Videopoetry Festival in Buenos Aires. He exhibited in Senigallia at the Municipal Museum of Modern Art of Information and Photography, receiving positive feedback. His latest photographic exhibition, “Homage to Umberto Mastroianni - Forms - Color - Poetry”, opened on 7 May 2019 in Bilbao, Spain, with great success. The Plaque of Merit recognizes his contribution to visual arts and the prestige he has brought to Fontana Liri through his national and international achievements.
