The Winter Mirror | ©2025

"The Winter Mirror" captures the essence of a frosty winter morning, where ice has formed on a transparent surface, trapping bare trees in a play of reflections and shadows. The icy texture, with its shades of white, gray, and brown, creates a striking contrast with the deep black of the tree trunks, while the soft yellow of the ground adds a hint of warmth to this chilly scene. A piece that invites contemplation of the stark beauty of nature in dormancy.

What you are regarding | ©2024

Rome, National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. In this black-and-white photograph, taken inside a room that houses a plate by Pablo Picasso, the sculpture “Tana” by Mimmo Paladino and a poetic work by Emilio Isgrò (which inspires the title of the image), the artist explores the relationship between artwork, viewer and reflection. The transparencies of museum glass generate visual overlaps between figures and reflections, in a continuous dialogue between reality and representation, between observer and observed. The image invites us to question the deep meaning of "looking", questioning the perception of art itself.

Assonanze | ©2024

This abstract photograph, titled Assonanze, explores the interplay of light, shadow, and color through a minimalist yet striking composition. A translucent yellow column stands against a white background crisscrossed by diagonal black lines, evoking graphic tension and silent harmonies. The interaction between form and space creates a visual dialogue of balance and contrast, where abstraction becomes a poetic language. Assonanze invites the viewer to lose themselves in the apparent simplicity of pure geometries and color relationships, provoking thought on the essence of visual perception.

The Sound of Waves (self portrait) | ©2025

A surreal, abstract image with a predominantly dark blue and purple color scheme. The central focus is a shadowy, indistinct figure that seems to blend into the misty background. On the right side, there are intricate, light patterns resembling delicate, floating threads or lines, adding a sense of depth and complexity to the composition. The overall atmosphere is mysterious and dreamlike, evoking a sense of otherworldliness.

Pentagramma d'autunno | ©2024

A solitary musical note, a leaf placed on the staff of the pentagram drawn by the shadow. A "warm and vital red" that Kandinskij called "like the sound of a tuba", but this is what they say, another story.

Götterdämmerung | ©2021

Explore Götterdämmerung, a visual artwork inspired by Richard Wagner's music drama. A dark image featuring hooded figures and a brick tower, set in blue and black tones, evoking mystery, decay, and tension. Ideal for fans of symbolic art and classical music.

Labirint | ©2018

This photo evokes a mental and visual labyrinth where geometric lines, illuminated by warm tones and deep shadows, create an enigmatic path that is lost in the darkness. The image evokes the idea of inner journey, search and confusion, as a symbol of the labyrinth of the human psyche.

L'equilibrio del silenzio |  ©2022

An abstract photograph that explores the tension between matter and light. Layers of metal, wood, and color intertwine in a visual composition dominated by red, yellow, and black, evoking a static balance and silent strength. The image invites viewers to pause, listen to the absence, and contemplate the hidden harmony of surfaces.

…c’è come una tela di ragno… | ©2024 #Alcol

A shadow walks across a glowing surface, as if moving through a slow, secret combustion. The image evokes the feeling of being trapped in an invisible web—a “spider’s web” that clings to the skin, unseen but always present with every step. The fiery red tones speak not only of pain, but of an ongoing transformation—a solitary yet necessary journey. Inspired by a verse from the song Non aprire mai by Claudio Lolli, the piece shifts between photography and emotional suggestion, creating a direct connection between the intimacy of the body and the abstract space of memory.

White Rats | ©2022  #Numbers

A visual artwork that merges mechanical design elements with organic textures, creating a surreal and hyperreal atmosphere. The layered composition features polka-dot patterns, red shapes, and cryptic numbers, evoking themes of control, experimentation, and altered time perception. A piece that challenges logic and activates intuition.

Il tramonto delle Gardenie | ©1988/2020

The viewer’s gaze is drawn into the elongated shadow of a solitary figure cast across the pavement. The focus is not the person themselves, but their shadow—an absence that suggests presence. A hand in the foreground hints at a gesture, a step, or perhaps a thought. Originally shot in 1988 and revisited conceptually in 2020, the image becomes a meditation on time, memory, and fleeting identity. The title “The Sunset of the Gardenias” evokes a feeling of melancholy and lost beauty, giving shape to what often remains unseen.

Innocenza | ©2023

An evocative photographic work exploring human fragility through the abstraction of form and texture. The image blends the silhouette of a human figure with a tactile surface painted in earthy, warm tones, evoking an archetypal return to the earth, memory, and origin. The face dissolves into the matter, shedding individual identity to become a universal presence. Light, filtered and intense, carves the space with symbolic force, evoking ideas of rebirth and vulnerability. This work becomes a visual meditation on primordial innocence—one that precedes awareness and judgment.
